Well, goddamn. It took a while to download, install and update it all...but I finally got the PTR running. I was in Org long enough to see that a) I could not see anything (black screen - I need a new video card?)
b) The PTR server keeps disconnecting people in populated areas (cities, of course)

Seconds later, I get an error, which I was too lazy to read, but I'm guessing it was error 132 (it usually is for me). Second attempt, I change video settings a bit and open up a Death Gate to Archerus. Zip over to the trainer and I'm delighted to see that he has a new option! Which leads to...another money sink.
